当一个人朦懂时，不知恋爱乡结婚意为着什么，当正真遇到你喜欢的人，在九九八十一难后修成正果，也有担当，有责任有义务，承担自己的责任，爱情那么长，从无知，到恋到情最后修成正果，很正面的人性的一面，编剧表述的也是主人公退变的过程，值得深思
一言难尽。很难相信这是苏照彬的水准，不知是不是受到了什么创作上的障碍。前戏太长了。倪妮是很美，但她太自知了，以至于泛滥成了自恋。
这部剧构思很巧妙，Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat是与时间有关的建筑，本剧在集数上采用时间段，推动故事情节。以薛家老二结婚为主线索，引出来Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat附近四合院居民的人情冷暖，世间百态。
