Mrs. March has four lovely girls: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy. The daughters have distinct personalities which have led them to utterly different life. They encountered all sorts of troubles in the process of growing up, Mrs. March herself sets a good model for her daughters, she teaches them how to treat and respect others, how to make friends with others with dignity in spite of poverty, how to deal with self own feeling that we shouldn’t be a slave of our temper, how to love and be loved, and how to live a meaningful life. Mrs. March is a wise mother, she provides wisdom and advice and guides her daughters down the straight and narrow path toward happy and fulfilling live. I really like the story, I learned a lot in this book, and I recalled many of memories when I was a little child and in my junior high school. Family is not only a location that we’re brought up, it’s also a lifelong school for us, our parents are our tutors, they teach us how to face the world in our own proper ways. A good atmosphere of family is good for children’ growing up, I wish I would be good mother one day.
